Combination in Poker

In this article you will find a description of all poker hands for Texas Hold'em, Omaha and other species of this card game. We'll start with the highest combination and describe them in descending order.

Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten of the same suit. Essentially a senior suited Street. The most rare and powerful combination in poker.

Straight Flush (Straight Flush):

Any five cards of the oldest and of the same suit. If two players have Straight Flush, the hand wins, in which the last card over. Straight Flush can both start with an Ace, and end them (Royal Flush).

Kare (Four of a Kind):

Four cards of the same rank. If two players have the same four of a kind, the winner is the one who has older "kicker" (the fifth card). For example: on the table 8,8,8,8,7 both players have four of a kind. One hand on K2, the other - Q6. The first player to win with a combination of 8,8,8,8, K.

Pair (One pair):

Two cards of the same rank. The example is a pair of two Aces. If both players have a pair, they are compared by seniority. If the opponents have the same pair, the winner is determined by the senior additional card (kicker). If they are equal, then compare the second and third additional card.

High Card:

Any five cards that do not add any of the above-described combinations. The winner is determined by the highest card. If both players have the highest card is equal, it compares the second, third, fourth and even fifth card. If all cards are equal, then the players just split the pot.
